UptimeGuard runs checks from 18 global locations every 30 seconds. Beyond simple ping checks, it validates SSL expiry, checks for response body changes (defacement detection), tracks TTFB and full page load over time, and uses a Bayesian anomaly model to detect performance degradation before it becomes an outage. Incidents trigger Slack, PagerDuty, SMS, and email simultaneously.
